La ejecución del Plan de Competitividad es menor al 12 %, advierte Luis Miguel Castilla, en el 32. ° Encuentro Empresarial del Norte (EEN).
Trujillo, 4 de diciembre de 2021. El exministro de Economía y Finanzas y director de Videnza Consultores, Luis Miguel Castilla Rubio, señaló durante su exposición sobre “Política macroeconómica para el desarrollo regional” señaló que es necesario asegurar que se reactiven los 4,500 millones de soles que el Plan Nacional de Competitividad contempla en 14 proyectos y que actualmente tienen una ejecución menor al 12 %.
“Es un problema muy serio porque habiendo recursos hay falta de capacidad, lo que debe llamar la atención de las autoridades. La agricultura, por ejemplo, es dependiente de los proyectos de irrigación que se tienen en la costa norte, como Chavimochic III que puede replantear la economía de la Macrorregión Norte”, aseguró.
Por su parte, Francisco Huertas Benites, vocero técnico del 32. ° EEN y presidente del Instituto Economía y Empresa (IEE), advirtió que “hasta la fecha no hay evidencia clara de que se implementarán las reformas económicas necesarias que aumenten la productividad y que sustente un crecimiento sostenido de la economía, pero sí hay señales de que se está avanzando en la contrarreforma, como son los casos de debilitar la meritocracia en la educación superior (SUNEDU), en la ‘empleocracia’ pública (SERVIR), en el transporte público, y en general se evidencia un retroceso en la asignación de recursos públicos”.
El exministro Castilla Rubio destacó, además, que “el oro es un acervo fundamental del norte del país como Cajamarca y La Libertad, que tienen una gran producción que concentra el 20 % de la inversión minera a nivel nacional. Hay 15 proyectos mineros en construcción por 25 mil millones de soles y ya se han dado asignaciones”, indicó.
En el evento 100 % virtual, también se presentó el exministro de Economía y Finanzas, Alonso Segura Vasi, quien brindó su conferencia sobre “Política fiscal y perspectivas”; así como Javier Beverinotti, economista país del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo con la conferencia “Panorama económico mundial”, entre otros destacados economistas.
Cabe mencionar que el 32. ° EEN fue organizado por la Cámara de Comercio de La Libertad (CCLL) y la Confederación Nacional de Instituciones Empresariales Privadas (CONFIEP).
