Actualmente, es presidente de la Mesa de Concertación para la Lucha Contra la Pobreza (MCLCP) y es miembro del Foro de Acuerdo Nacional desde el 2002. Docente de la Universidad del Pacífico en la Maestría en Gestión de la Inversión Social.
